delight – intrigue – exploration

I made a decision that as well as actually writing daily, I will call myself a writer and begin to share work. Hence, this website.

So far, I’ve written poems and short films, a play, stuff on my website graceunpacked. Now, I craft poetry, post work on Instagram @janeralstonwritehere, and I’m at work on a novel series for young adults.

I plan to populate this space with poetry, bits of my new books and pieces of my old short films, and add to it with ideas and possibly art. Until it eventually becomes an offering of some of my work in progress.

Jane L Ralston is a writer, artist and creative entrepreneur who lives in London, UK with her husband, three children and dog. Originally from New Zealand, Jane earned university degrees majoring in Film-making, English literature. She also graduated from the New Zealand Drama School after which she worked in theatre and film post-production. Later, to fit in with family life, she created a property business. She has previously written and produced short films and a play. She writes poetry and is working on her first novel, part of a planned trilogy.
