Jane L Ralston creates and exhibits fine art from her studio in London. Originally from New Zealand, she’s now spent half her life in the UK, where she lives with her family. She loves to connect others to creative joy, and seeks out character and story development – in art, writing and life.
Years ago, Jane attended Ilam Fine Arts School, University of Canterbury where her best work was paint-on-glass animation. She graduated with both Bachelors of Fine Arts majoring in Film-making and Bachelor of Arts, English literature. After studying acting at Toi Whakaari, New Zealand Drama School, she worked in theatre and later in film post-production. She has previously written and produced short films and a play. As well as making art, she performs her own poetry and is craftily crafting a trilogy of YA novels.
